How To Add A Variable Product






STEP 1
  1. Open the backend portal for your website by entering /login after your domain for example: mydomain.com/login
  2. Enter your username & password and click on sign-in
  3. After you login, proceed to Products Tab (located on the left menu tab)
  4. Select Add New Product

 

STEP 2

·        Enter the product name

 

STEP 3

  1. Scroll down to the Product data tab
  2. Select variable product

 

STEP 4

  1. Select the product attributes “Attributes” settings
  2. Select the desired values for the attributes
  3. Make sure the checkboxes for “Visible on the product page” & “Used for variations” are checked.
  4. Save attributes.

STEP 5

  1. Generate product variations in the “Variations” settings
  2. Select okay on the pop-up that appears.

 

STEP 6

Set the product details for each variation i.e., price, inventory details, specific product images & shipping details (if applicable)  in the “Variations” settings

 

STEP 7

Scroll down and enter the product description in the “Product short description” tab

 

STEP 8

Scroll up and select/upload the product image in the “Product Image” tab (located on the right menu tab)

 

STEP 9

Scroll down and select/upload the product gallery images in the “Product gallery” tab (located on the right menu tab)
(Press and hold CTRL to select multiple images)

 

STEP 10

  1. Scroll down and select category in the “Product categories” tab (located on the right menu tab)
  2. Or to create a new product category, click on "Add category" and enter the desired category name in the empty field box below. *NB* You can setup a Parent Category or a Sub-category by in the drop-down selection
  3. For a parent category (Main category), set the drop-down option to "Parent Category"
  4. For a sub-category, select your desired main category from the drop-down options

 

STEP 11

  1. Scroll down and select he product tag in the “Product tags” tab (located on the right menu tab) (This is usually the Brand Name of the product)
  2. To create a new tag, type in the name in the field box provided in the "Product tags" tab and select Add 

 

STEP 12

Scroll up and select publish the product. (located on the right menu tab)
